One of the most underrated gems of early 2020 due to honestly I don’t know what.
I’m always excited for another shot at was clearly the best part of David Ayer’s / Warner Bros “Suicide Squad”. It came out so fast if I’m remembering correctly. Seeing trailers and then next thing you know it’s in theaters. It felt like only weeks. It was one the last movies I saw in theaters before Covid hit. I saw it with my fiancé and nephew Nick. Nick didn’t even see a trailer let alone know what we were watching until we were in our seats and he still had just as much a blast as we did!

Such a cool cast! I think all three of us agreed that we are big Margot Robbie fans! Evan McGregor is fantastic! Rosie Perez gets to kick some ass! Mary Elizabeth Winstead who my fiancé and I love from “Death Proof” (2008), Jurnee Smollett was a new but lovely face for me as was Ella Jay Basco.
Cathy Yan did a beautiful job continuing Harley Quinn’s journey and getting her the movie she deserved. The action is superb and the blend of comedy they add is perfect.

I loved the opening animation sequence! Margot’s narration was just lovely! We made breakfast sandwiches for weeks after watching that! Awesome soundtrack and badass action with kick-ass gals!

I was sad to hear it didn’t explode upon release. I get the Harley Quinn obsession has washed away a little but this was exactly what the fans deserved I thought and exactly what they were asking for. You got it! You just didn’t seem to see it! So now’s a better chance than any!
