You might like this if you like: Dexter (such a huge fan of Michael C. Hall, it’s the only reason I heard about this movie was because I devoured everything he made), The Office (Dwight of course), Sarah Silverman (one of my fav comedians), Parks & Rec (Ben Schwartz as Jean-Ralphio, also voice of Sonic, who just makes me laugh like crazy), Arrested Development (similar type of comedy, similar situation), Silicon Valley (you get Jack Barker) Peep World (2010) I first discovered through my love of Michael C. Hall. I was and still am the biggest Dexter fan and think MCH is one of the greatest living actors of my time. I had seen him do a “College Humor” skit with Ben Schwartz (who I had never seen before) that was very memorably funny. So going INTO Peep World I had been a fan of Dexter/MCH, Ben Schwartz JUST from that skit, The Office and was a fan of Sarah Silverman. That was enough for me to go see the film.

Having now just rewatched it with my fiancé, we had DEVOURED Parks & Rec and fell in love with Ben Schwartz’s character Jean-Ralphio and just heard him as Sonic in the Sonic movie which was also amazing, watched all of Silicon Valley (Stephen Tobolowsky who plays Jack Barker is in this), not super familiar with Lewis Black but heard enough of his stand up and loved him in Accepted (2006), so because of all that it made rewatching Peep World a huge joy. It was like the avengers team up of some of our favorite comedians.. Just the fact that Dexter, Dwight and Jean-Ralphio are all in the same movie playing brothers is f*cking awesome/hilarious to me. I love it. Just great to see how they all act together. It’s hilarious, real and raw, wonderful performances, ALMOST FORGOT to mention Judy Greer (fan of her character in Arrested Development and the Ant-Man films) and Kate Mara (fan of her roles in House of Cards & Shooter) who are INCREDIBLE in this movie.

Peep World (2010)

Without giving plot away, this film just made me laugh and feel and think in all the ways I wanted and didn’t know I wanted. A wonderful rewatch during this time and think it could bring some laughs and joy to others!
