Without searching for this, I believe I saw an ad that was shared by Taika Waititi on one of his social media accounts exclaiming he was a producer on this show and was sharing its first trailer.. And I couldn’t look away..
At the time of writing this, 6 episodes has been released all of which I’ve consumed and am only craving more!

I’m thankful for Taika Waititi’s sharing and producing of this show, but it truly stands on own legs with a powerful cast of new faces, familiar emotions and humor yet all through a different cultural lens wrapped up in a beautifully written show! We need more stories like these!
It’s so impressive, especially with such a young cast and, at least for me, all new faces! Devery Jacobs and Paulina Alexis are standouts! My favorite characters by far! They’re so damn tough and inspiring! I’m trying not to give anything away, but we really get the time each character deserves in this show!

D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai and Lane Factor are also wonderful in this! Their whole team and their little town is undeniably charming!
On top of that cast it’s all beautifully orchestrated together with the shots of the locations, music, storylines and more! I love, love, LOVE this show! It hits the funny cords and the emotional ones all at the perfect and most unexpected times, just like real life!
