This one might be the favorite… It has my favorite opening to a ‘Star Wars’ film to this date. As soon as the opening credit roll is finished and we hear those war drums.. then John Williams thunderous score follows.. I get goosebumps every time! One of the best space fights and we get it in the first 10 seconds of the film. Such a bloody good way to open!

My favorite 'Obi-Wan' look by far on Ewan McGregor. He looks just so damn handsome!

I think one of the reasons I love this film so much is for its scale, it feels like a full on science fiction war film. Getting to see the war happening on multiple planets was so fascinating to watch. It’s the greatest turn in the ‘Star Wars’ universe. Probably the biggest event that the movies capture. It’s the epic handoff to the original film trilogy.

As I mentioned before I’m obsessed with clones and stormtroopers and we get the infamous “Order 66” in this film that changed everything for everyone in the ‘Star Wars’ universe. It was one of the most memorable scenes in my childhood. I’ll never forget it was the first time I turned to a stranger in the theater and asked them if they knew what was going on. I was 12 years old and simply asked “Wait so are the Clones bad now?” of which they replied “I think so”. The start of me chatting with other strangers at movie theaters. It really was such a big turn to see on screen and for a kid, I trusted these clones. I don’t think it clicked with me right away that “Oh duh, they have to turn bad”. Just like ‘Anakin’ has to. I guess I was just so caught up in the moment of the movie that I wasn’t thinking that far ahead. It’s a bittersweet, heartbreaking and terrifying moment. That moment alone is what makes this film jump so high to the top for me.

We get such an epic force of 'Jedi' and 'Sith' action in this one! 'Palpatine' and 'Yoda'! Everyone’s fighting for their life and the stakes are the highest they’ve ever been!

"Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" (2005)

'Anakin' and 'Obi-Wan'’s final confrontation is such a wonderfully composed scene! The music is just hitting us so hard in one of my favorite John Williams moments, that lava landscape and their rich blue lightsabers glowing off the orange background, 'Anakin'’s eyes are bloodshot red and he looks meaner than ever. It’s really a hard scene to watch because I feel so much for what 'Obi-Wan'’s character is going through in that moment. 'Anakin' really is the closest thing he has to a son.

"Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith" (2005)

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith” (2005) really does pump me up for jumping into the originals. I’ve watched all the prequels before and have really enjoyed watching ‘Star Wars’ in chronological order. This film has shaped me in my childhood more than I can ever explain. This franchise alone. “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith” (2005) will remain a favorite of mine for years to come!

"Revenge of the Sith is by some distance the finest Star Wars prequel and though it can't quite sit on a par with the original trilogy, it skirts close." - Tony Black, Cultural Conversation

"This tells the story of the downfall of the Jedi and the rise of Darth Vader well, and that's all I ever wanted out of the Prequels in the first place..." - David Hogan, hoganreviews.co.uk

"Revenge of the Sith is the film which puts the opera in space opera; no other Star Wars film has done it better." - Joshua Starnes, VitalThrills.com

"Lucas is not a master of writing dialogue... but save for some exaggerated or somewhat absurd moments, "Revenge of the Sith" is a great "Star Wars" movie, a roller coaster of action and emotion." - Sebastian Zavala Kahn, Cinencuentro

"With a willingness to take the Star Wars saga to its necessary darkest direction, 'Sith' delivers an epic, masterful payoff to the prequels." - Jeffrey Lyles, Lyles' Movie Files
