"The Simpsons" (1989-)

A show that has touched the lives of probably every single person I’ve met in one way or another; “The Simpsons” (1989). I wished I had grown up on this show more as a kid, but nonetheless has grown to be a part of me and has become a comfort zone of entertainment, thought and inspiration!

'Homer Simpson', played by Dan Castellaneta, is truly the epitome of the classic dumb sitcom dad that we all adore. From 'Ray Romano', 'Bob Belcher', 'Peter Griffin', almost any family sitcom, has played off the sitcom dad stereotype, but never quite as well as Dan Castellaneta’s 'Homer Simpson'.

"The Simpsons" (1989-)

It’s so hard not to get into every character, especially as I love every single one of them. The whole family is by far my favorite family that’s graced the screen. 'Marge' really does encompass everything you could want in a mom. Lisa’s the heart and brain of the whole show, and 'Bart'’s adventure always keep things exciting!

From 'Flanders', 'Comic Book Guy', Marge’s twin sisters, 'Mr. Burn's, 'Nelson', to 'Milhouse', there’s just too many greats to name!

"The Simpsons" (1989-)

It’s got references to last for generations and for every generation! It’s got cameos even greater than “Saturday Night Live”! It’s the longest running show (as I’m writing this 08/10/21) to this date! It’s spoofed every single thing you can imagine! It’s got romance, laughs, heart, action, horror, drama, music, and basically everything the human being could ever want or need!

I always look forward to “The Simpsons” (1989) opening titles! They’re probably the most exciting thing to watch as, well, they’re different every time! From short spoofs to even long tangents, they’re some of the most original and fun aspects of the entire show!

"The Simpsons" (1989-)

The Simpsons” (1989) has inspired me in so many ways, from my work, to friendships, to love, family, it truly feels like it’s helped me in every part of my life. Such simple lessons all told through some of the silliest, funniest, yet breathtakingly thoughtful, all in a 20 minute cartoon. It’s done everything imaginable and given me everything I could want and then some. I only hope that new generations can discover and find the heart and joy I did and continue to do in “The Simpsons” (1989).
